Here are some hot events going on in KDU College Malaysia, one of the acclaimed pioneers of Malaysian private education situated at Petaling Jaya recently. Back in November, students from the School of Art and Social Sciences from the Department of Communication taking Diploma in Mass Communication had to do a 2 hour radio broadcast in the campus for their final assessments. The group formed X FM that plays alternative and independent music aiming for listeners that ranges from 16 to 25. Dooodolls sponsored them goodie bags that were given to the game players and we’ve got precious feedback from them and some cheeky photos as well.

Cupido has always been an apple of the eye for girls. And the colorful bookmark she’s using to block her nose is actually our Dooodolls “Can You Comic?” contest form. Winners get a limited edition 3 feet Drooolie, so what are you waiting for? Participate now!

Caught some Dooodolls slacking!

Dooodolls Design Sdn Bhd cares for the needy! On 23 Mac, 2008, the company’s elite team had gone on a surprise visit to several charity homes in Petaling Jaya, with the aim to instill the virtue of humanism and to raise the awareness of the public to help and care for the disadvantaged.

The first destination was Precious Childrens Home situated behind MPPJ Library Petaling Jaya which is established by Evelyn Robert and her husband, Dr Robet Paul. Precious Children’s Home was a small single-storey house with meager facilities to cater the needs of twenty-three shelter-less children ranging from two to sixteen years old, but after relentless effort of fundraising, Precious Childrens Home had improved into a better abode. More on Precious Children’s Home.

Dooodolls team was overjoyed to be greeted by the warm and cheeky citizens of Precious Childrens Home; and as the boxes of Dooodolls were handed to them, they could hardly suppress their excitement.

The team headed towards their second destination later on, Chempaka Welfare which is located at Taman Megah, Petaling Jaya. The team members were clearly outnumbered by the fourteen bubbly kids who showed their excitement by literarily swarming over the goodies. Nevertheless, the team enjoyed their bonding time with the kids that were immensely amazed by the kooky creatures called Dooodolls.

The last stop of our charity visit was to Sekolah Kanak-Kanak Pekak Selangor, Kelana Jaya founded by Persekutuan Orang Pekak Malaysia (MFD) and directed by Pn Hafidah. The education of the school provides basic knowledge and social skills for the students with hearing difficulties as so to live independently without the restrictions of communication.

After visiting three different welfare homes, the team decided to call it a day. It was really an eye-opener for the team to experience the joy with the innocent children and sincerely wished for the best of their wellbeing. Special thanks to Precious Children Home, Chempaka Welfare Home, Sekolah Kanak-kanak Pekak Selangor and heartiest gratitude to the elite team of Dooodolls Design Sdn Bhd.
